Meet Kathy Foltin, New Senior Designer at KTDC

When Kathy Foltin joined Kate Tallent Design & Communications recently as senior designer, she added 16 years of experience in art direction, design and project management to the company’s capacity, while also echoing KTDC’s same passion for mission-based communications, making her an excellent complement to the KTDC staff.

Specializing in publications and conference identity work, Kathy has created a broad range of visual solutions for nonprofit, association and public interest groups in the areas of logo development, annual reports, newsletters, exhibition materials and other communications collaterals. Prior to joining KTDC, she served a range of clients, across industry sectors, including the Alliance for Justice, the American Association of Museums, the Human Rights Campaign, the Natural Resources Defense Council and many others.

Kathy began her career in the printing industry where she developed hands-on skills in prepress production and cutting-edge printing techniques before moving into the realm of senior graphic designer, working on a variety of large-scale, long-term projects as well as small-budget pieces.

Kathy has an M.A. in Publications Design from the University of Baltimore and a B. A. in English from Towson University.
